Higanjima: 48 Nichigo...

The desperate campaign to reclaim Higanjima ended in catastrophic failure, with the human military forces crushed beneath the overwhelming might of the vampire horde. In the wake of that defeat, Miyabi’s grand design came to fruition without further resistance, and the sinister shadow of his influence spread inexorably across the mainland. Within months, the entire nation of Japan had fallen, its cities transformed into silent hunting grounds and its surviving populace reduced to either prey or subjugation under a new, bloodthirsty regime. Half a year later, the desolate landscape of abandoned Japan serves as the stage for a solitary guerrilla war. Amidst the ruins and perpetual dusk, a lone figure wages a relentless one-man campaign against the vampire occupiers. That man is Akira Miyamoto, a warrior forged in the very crucible of Higanjima's horrors. Having already endured and survived the island’s unspeakable hell, Akira fights with a burning resolve that transcends mere survival. Though he has lost an arm in the ongoing conflict, his will remains unbroken; each skirmish is a testament to his unyielding spirit as he carves a bloody path through the darkness, seeking to reclaim a shred of humanity from a world that has already surrendered to the night.
