Who says Beijing Film Academy has no great directors? (2002)

In 2002, Chen Yan travels back in time and becomes a sophomore in the directing department of the Beijing Film Academy. As a seasoned veteran of film sets and a master of cheat codes, Chen Yan attempts to disrupt the industry's competitive landscape by producing commercial films. However, his approach earns him a Best Director award at one of the three major international film festivals, whereupon he asserts that only art films can truly showcase a director's ability, silencing his critics and paving the way for his success.
