Summary

Official Details

A troubled girl who harms herself, a social outcast shunned by those around her, and an elderly woman seeking only a quiet end to her days—what could these three vastly different individuals possibly share? That is the question elementary schooler Nanoka Koyanagi is determined to answer. Given a school assignment to define happiness on her own terms, she sets out to find her footing in the world by deepening her connections with these three strangers. Along the way, her encounters with each of them lead her toward a deeper understanding of herself.
