Even a magical girl's life has quieter moments. Between battling witches and collecting grief seeds, Homura Akemi and her companions must also face the everyday trials of ordinary high school students. This four-panel comedy shifts the focus away from supernatural combat to the humorous, remarkably normal routines that fill the girls' downtime. Each bite-sized strip highlights the amusing gap between the girls' extraordinary duties and their everyday teenage lives. When they are not locked in battle, Homura and her friends grapple with the same small struggles and silly situations as any other students, proving that life as a magical girl is never just about fighting witches. A charming spin-off of the bestselling Puella Magi Madoka Magica series, this volume invites readers to discover a lighter, sillier side of its beloved heroines through quick, lighthearted gags.
