What should I do if my pet loves watching anime?

After transmigrating into the world of Pokémon, Gu Beiri sets his sights on becoming the world's greatest Trainer. But necessity forces him to start his journey as a researcher—because he's broke. While buried in his thesis, however, he notices his Pokémon's battle styles growing increasingly strange. An Ampharos that flips a coin before wildly unleashing its electromagnetic cannon, insisting it's only level 5. A Ninetales that claims the entire world is wrong, not him. A Gallade that slaughters opponents with a move straight out of legend—Excalibur. Shout, Scizor! With your burning soul!? A Staraptor charging headlong into battle while yelling "Offer your heart!" And wait—one of them is trying to become Ultraman?! "I'm a Trainer, not some alien host!" Years later, when a reporter asks the now-renowned World Champion, "You must have worked incredibly hard to reach this level, right?" Gu Beiri falls silent for a long time. Turning to look at the motley crew of monsters behind him, he can only stare wordlessly at the sky... "If letting your Pokémon watch anime counts as hard work, then... I guess I did."
