Yotsukoto

When their beloved teacher vanishes without warning, the young mages Yotsuki and Kotowari are left with little more than a cryptic final instruction: journey across the land and call upon six specific acquaintances. Armed with their inherent magical talents and a shared resolve to uncover the truth, the pair set out on a pilgrimage that quickly proves far more treacherous than a simple errand. Each name on their teacher's list seems to hold a fragment of a larger design, yet the reasons behind the abrupt disappearance remain tantalizingly out of reach, forcing the girls to navigate not only the physical perils of the open road but also the unsettling silences of those they seek. What begins as a straightforward mission to recover their mentor soon spirals into a gauntlet of unforeseen trials—unstable terrain, fickle magic, and the weight of secrets their teacher deliberately left unsaid. With every new encounter, the boundaries of their quest expand, testing their trust in each other and their own burgeoning abilities. As Yotsuki and Kotowari press deeper into unfamiliar territories, they realize that finding their mentor is only the surface of a much deeper enigma, and that the six scattered friends may hold keys to revelations far more significant than a simple reunion. Their search becomes a crucible of resilience, where each step forward illuminates the fragile line between destiny and choice in a world steeped in wonder and hidden danger.
