Her ordinary routine is abruptly disrupted when she encounters Miton, a bizarre creature rummaging through a local trash dump. Rather than fleeing from the unsettling sight, Yuzuka finds herself cornered by the strange being, who immediately singles her out as the perfect candidate for an extraordinary destiny. With highly suspicious enthusiasm, Miton declares that Yuzuka possesses the innate qualities required to become a magical girl. Before she can fully process this dubious proposition or question the creature's true motives, the transformation sequence initiates without warning. However, instead of being adorned in the frilly, elegant battle attire traditionally associated with heroic magical warriors, Yuzuka discovers that her newly acquired magical outfit is nothing more than a simple swimsuit.
