Closet Girl

Kouki is a high school student whose broad, athletic frame allows him to blend in naturally among the other boys. Yet beneath that easy sense of belonging, he often feels adrift—much of what his classmates talk about leaves him baffled, and he quietly keeps his rich knowledge of plants hidden away, unable to share it with anyone. Everything changes when a transfer student named Misaki joins the class. For reasons Kouki cannot explain, Misaki is the one person he simply cannot see. While every student around him jokes and chats with Misaki as though nothing were the least bit strange, Kouki is left wondering what sort of expression Misaki might be wearing whenever he speaks to him. Before he even realizes it, Kouki finds his eyes tracking Misaki again and again, unable to look away from the classmate who should be right in front of him. Through this presence that only he cannot see, Kouki is destined to confront a world whose very existence he never once imagined.
