Betrayed by the very comrades he once trusted, Light is cast out of the Concord of the Tribes, and his former allies turn on him without a moment's hesitation. He survives their treachery by the narrowest of margins—only to find himself stranded in the deepest reaches of the Abyss, the deadliest dungeon in the realm. With flesh-hungry monsters closing in, his sole hope lies in the Unlimited Gacha, his one and only magical skill—until now, a power that produced nothing but worthless junk. Yet this time it summons something extraordinary: Mei, a breathtaking Level 9999 fighter clad in a maid's outfit. Three years pass, and Light has carved out a kingdom of his own within the dungeon's depths. The Unlimited Gacha now answers his call time and again, drawing forth beautiful Level 9999 warriors who pledge unwavering loyalty to their master. Alongside them, Light rises to become a Level 9999 Overlord in his own right. Now he sets his sights on the surface world. The comrades who discarded him believe him long dead—but Light intends to repay their betrayal in full, hunting down each of his former companions one by one and delivering a reckoning they will never forget.
