Furuki Okite no Mahou Kishi

In the legendary age of old, Sir Sid the Barbarian swore his blade to Holy King Arthur. Renowned as the most powerful magical knight of his era, he was nevertheless considered a stain upon the code of chivalry. His transgressions were many, and legend holds that he ultimately fell by the hand of his own sovereign. A millennium has since passed, yet Sid is now roused from eternal slumber by Prince Alvin, a descendant of Arthur who alone knows the true history of the Lightning Knight. Bound by an ancient oath, Sid returns to aid Alvin in defending the realm against looming catastrophe and assumes the role of instructor to a class of aspiring knights. As hidden threats emerge, he must guide these underdogs to look beyond their enchanted fairy swords and master the forgotten traditions of the magic knights.
