Summary

Raw Details
Fushimi Kawa has suffered the full brunt of being born in the wrong era. Reincarnated into Japan in 1952, he endures a difficult infancy, narrowly escaping the Morinaga powdered milk arsenic poisoning scandal. Determined to improve his lot, he begins plagiarizing popular moralistic essays—such as "The Contest in Summer Camp" and "The White House Power Outage for Life"—during elementary school, earning worldwide acclaim as a child prodigy. Yet lacking any real literary talent, he eventually sets his sights on becoming a manga artist. By 1970, Japan's "Bad Books" suppression movement has finally subsided. *Harenchi Gakuen* is making waves, *Ashita no Joe* and *Kyojin no Hoshi* are running as hit serials, and *Doraemon* is about to step onto the historical stage. The manga industry is flourishing. Becoming an assistant to Fujimoto Hiroshi and co-creating *Doraemon* with him marks Fushimi's first step in challenging the legends who came before him. Enrolling at Waseda University, he establishes the CM Doujinshi Exhibition, giving manga enthusiasts a space to express themselves. His future promises much more to come.
