Masamichi Akita has always believed that the sharpest weapon is a cautious mind. Navigating the treacherous hallways of his high school, he clings to a mantra of prudent living—avoid fights, sidestep trouble, and never draw unnecessary attention. This careful equilibrium is violently upended when a run-in with a local delinquent leaves him pinned and helpless. Just as the situation spirals toward disaster, Setsuna Rikudou appears like a force of nature. With an almost casual ferocity, she demolishes his aggressors, and Akita finds himself transfixed not by her savagery, but by the breathtaking efficacy of her raw strength. Captivated by her prowess, Akita casts aside his lifelong caution and pleads for her to train him. Rikudou agrees, but her philosophy arrives like a hammer to his ideals. In her stark worldview, all human interaction is governed by a single, immutable law: violence reigns supreme. Morals, diplomacy, and reason are merely fragile illusions that shatter upon contact with true force. Her chilling conviction devastates Akita, forcing him to question every principle he once held sacred. Yet, he cannot turn away. As Rikudou guides him deeper into this merciless doctrine, the ordinary student finds his very soul being reshaped, stepping irrevocably into a shadowy world where power is the only currency and combat is the ultimate truth.
