Yumi Takeshita, a cheerful and newly minted police officer at the Tawagoto precinct, has a chance encounter with her past when she meets Tohru Ichidaiji, a skilled magician who had saved her from a life-threatening accident years earlier. Their paths cross again during Yumi's first arrest attempt, and she is drawn to his charming and helpful nature.
