Habatake Majutsu Sekai no Shitei-tachi!

For more than a thousand years, humanity has weathered the monsters' ceaseless assaults thanks to a single towering figure: Ishtar, the greatest grand mage the world has ever known, and the circle of exceptional disciples she has personally trained. Under their watch, civilization has flourished, safely shielded from threats that would otherwise have torn it apart. Yet even among such extraordinary students, one name stands out for all the wrong reasons: Gilberto. Where his fellow disciples shoulder their responsibilities with pride, Gilberto alone embraces idleness, drifting through each day in sloth and self-indulgence without a care in the world. That fragile tranquility comes crashing down when Ishtar abruptly declares her retirement—and a girl named Lapis appears, harboring dreams of becoming a disciple herself. Almost overnight, a cascade of unforeseen complications begins piling up, and Gilberto's comfortable, uneventful existence is flung headlong into chaos he never bargained for!
