Shite Mite.

Once a nondescript salaryman leading an unremarkable life in Japan, he awakens in a celestial void before the Goddess of Time and Space. She delivers an unexpected decree: he will be reborn in a new world, but as a girl named Karina—simply because she prefers it that way. Before he can fully process this jarring shift in identity, the goddess lays out his primary objective: defeat a notorious final boss against whom she holds a personal grudge. To prepare him for the task, the goddess seizes control of Karina's newly formed body for a brief tutorial, intending to showcase the intricacies of her spatial magic. But as the demonstration begins, Karina realizes with dawning horror that the imposing enemy materializing before them is not a training dummy—it is the very final boss she was summoned to destroy. In the span of a single, bewildering minute, the goddess unleashes a devastating torrent of power through her vessel, obliterating the ultimate evil as though it were merely a practice target. With the battle concluded before it could even properly start, the goddess nonchalantly declares that the world is now Karina's oyster, free for the taking. Left standing in the silent aftermath of the cataclysmic non-event, Karina grapples with the absurdity of her situation—her grand purpose rendered meaningless in an instant, and her new life already veering wildly off any expected course.
