From Problematic Female Recruits to Elite Special Forces

A rebellious heiress, a military scion with connections everywhere, a rural girl desperate to earn a promotion, a reclusive sniper queen, a hot-tempered combat champion, and a brilliant female PhD... These are the "fairies" and "princesses" of a misfit female squad. Paratrooper ace Lin Zhan is summoned from another world and thrust into command of this motley crew, where every member has her own agenda and a talent for causing trouble. His leadership philosophy? There's no room for coddling here. When a recruit pleads for lighter duty due to menstrual cramps, Lin Zhan orders her to take a cold shower to "cool down." When another requests sunscreen to protect her skin, he points to a mud pit and declares it a "fresh, high-protein mud mask." He dismisses complaints about unscientific training or inherent physical disadvantages with a ruthless mantra: if it won't kill you, push harder. Tears only earn the entire squad extra drills. Amid their sobs, the women wail that if they become infertile, their commander must take full responsibility. Lin Zhan scoffs that paratroopers don't cry, and calls them a flock of clucking hens rather than Valkyries. Yet years later, at an international joint military exercise, the top brass looks on in shock. This was supposed to be a cushy assignment to babysit a bunch of princesses and pad a resume—how did every single one of them become a paratrooper special forces queen?
