Shichisei no Subaru

Within the wildly popular MMORPG "Union," one party stood above all others: Subaru. Formed from a tight-knit group of childhood friends still in elementary school, this legendary team accomplished feats that seemed to transcend the game's very design, their extraordinary instincts and chemistry pushing past every limit the virtual world imposed. But their golden era came to a devastating end when an incident claimed the life of one of their own. In the aftermath, "Union" was permanently shut down, and the childhood friends of Subaru drifted apart, each carrying the weight of what was lost. Six years pass. Haruto, now a high school student, logs in to "Reunion," the successor to the game that once defined his youth. There, he comes face to face with someone who should not exist: Asahi, a former member of Subaru and his cherished childhood friend—the girl believed to have died six years ago. Is she a lingering digital ghost, a mere echo of leftover data, or something else entirely? Haruto's impossible reunion with Asahi marks the beginning of a mystery that blurs the line between the virtual world and reality.
