Houtou Ouji to Toraware no Kemono

Alan, the second prince of Corus, seeks the aid of Sauro, a warrior of Matara held captive in the dungeons, to facilitate his escape and thwart the civil war engineered by his mother—the king's mistress—in her bid for the throne. Sauro agrees to cooperate, but demands a "vow" as his price: a binding ritual that joins their bodies, accompanied by his declaration, "I will embrace you from now on." As the two flee the kingdom, they grow closer and gain a deeper understanding of one another along the journey. However, Alan soon learns that Sauro's vow was in fact an act of love, and that he has become Sauro's fiancé. This dramatic romance chronicles Alan's discovery of the joy of being cherished, even as he is held in Sauro's embrace.
