Nekosogi Radical

It may be true that every beginning implies an end, but it is short-sighted to assume that every end necessarily had a beginning. In truth, the reverse is more often the case: most events are already concluded before they even commence, sealed though they were never opened. I—an earnest, honest man who dares not call truth by its name, dares not call fact by its own, and knows the virtue of silence better than anyone—will ascend a certain staircase this September. The Thirteenth Staircase. Those who accompany me are Kino-Raichi, Noise, Emoto Sonoki, Mio-tsukushi Takami, and Mio-tsukushi Misora. Yet what awaits me at the top of those steps is something so absurd, so achingly familiar… in this sixth volume of the *Zaregoto* series.
