In a quest to prevent the catastrophic event known as the Grand Fall, Rid Hershel and his companions Farah, Keel, and Meredy have acquired the three Greater Spirits of Inferia. However, their journey to Mount Farlos is soon derailed when Rid is kidnapped by the notorious bounty hunter Marone Blucarno, forcing the party to detour to the distant archipelago of Belcarnu. As they navigate this unfamiliar territory, a series of unexpected adventures unfolds, prompting them to extend their stay on the islands. It is here that they discover a more pressing threat to the land of Inferia, one that demands their immediate attention and action.
