The Detective is Already Dead

Four years ago, Kimihiko Kimizuka's life changed forever when a chance encounter aboard a hijacked airplane made him the assistant of Siesta, a brilliant and enigmatic detective. Together, the unlikely duo embarked on one astonishing adventure after another, journeying across the globe as they battled to thwart the schemes of a secret organization. That chapter came to an abrupt end when Siesta's death severed their partnership, leaving Kimihiko to carry on alone. Now a high school student, he yearns for nothing more than the quiet, uneventful rhythm of ordinary life—a stark contrast to the chaos he once lived in. Yet true peace remains out of reach. However firmly Kimihiko clings to normalcy, the extraordinary has a way of pulling him back, and the memory of his time with Siesta refuses to fade. The detective is already dead—but the story she left behind is far from over.
