Twelve years have passed since Eunsan last set foot on the ice, and he has spent every one of them systematically erasing the echoes of his hockey career—along with every trace of the man who once made it unbearable. When Ian, his former teammate and longtime antagonist, resurfaces without warning, Eunsan's carefully compartmentalized life is thrown into disarray. He braces for a single, fleeting encounter, hoping to close that chapter for good. But Ian has other plans, presenting an offer that is as irresistible as it is suspicious, and wielding a leverage Eunsan cannot afford to ignore: his beloved younger sibling, now unwittingly caught at the center of Ian's machinations. Forced into an uneasy alliance, Eunsan finds himself tethered to the very person he swore to forget, each reluctant step forward reigniting old frictions and unspoken tensions. Yet beneath Ian's relentless insistence on keeping him close, Eunsan senses a current of something far more calculated than mere professional convenience. Every lingering glance and deliberate gesture deepens his unease, raising a question he desperately wants to dismiss. After all, this is Ian—the rival who made his past a living hell. There is simply no way the man's motives could be anything but coldly strategic. No way at all.
