The Fisherman's Legend of Sicily

All I did was listen to a song called "Sicily." I never asked to be sent here. But Sicily isn't so bad—an island surrounded by the sea, blessed with pleasant weather, vibrant culture, endless year-round delicacies, and the bountiful fishing grounds of the Mediterranean. Yet what is this system that appeared out of nowhere? 【Task Received: The Lamb to the Slaughter】 In a restless Sicily where people seem to have forgotten the meaning of respect, offending you is more foolish than provoking the sea itself—make those who disrespect you disappear forever! I look across at the toothless old ladies arguing with me about which tastes better fried, nurse shark or dogfish... and fall into contemplation. Stay calm. The system must have made a mistake. Forget it. Let me get back to my easygoing little life. But soon, I realize I was wrong. Not because the system forced me, but because the way people looked at me grew stranger by the day. Then I stopped in front of a gelato shop and glanced inside—and in that instant, over twenty hands holding ice cream cones stretched toward me. The hands belonged to vendors, teachers, judges, and even schoolchildren just out of class. "I finally understand what's wrong! I've landed the script of Malèna from Cinema Paradiso—everyone here covets me!" But the very next second, a kiss fell gently upon my hand. "Godfather..." the crowd murmured in admiration. Huh??
