Rewriting the Villainess

Commander Liza Mary of the Imperial Knights returns to the Empire of Phaeton in triumph, her long war to subjugate an enemy kingdom finally at an end. She anticipates celebrating her homecoming with Illian, the fiancé she loves dearly—only to have her world crumble when he abandons her for Flora, the princess of the very kingdom she helped bring to its knees. Heartbroken, Liza drowns her sorrow in drink that night and slides into a drunken stupor. When she opens her eyes again, nothing is familiar: she has awakened in a modern world, trapped inside the body of Do-Eun, a timid high school student. Bewildered and desperate for answers, Liza sets out to unravel how this impossible fate befell her and to find a way back to her own world. Aiding her in the search are Do-Eun's friends, Ian and Lora—two companions whose faces bear an unsettling resemblance to Illian and Flora, the very people who shattered her heart.
