Summary

Official Details

Set in Hiroshima in the aftermath of World War II, this story follows young people who become entangled in the underground weapons trade. At its center is a survivor of the atomic bombing, whose consuming hatred drives him to kill an American black marketeer. He confronts the Americans with a question: "Who are you to talk about justice when you massacred hundreds of thousands of innocent people in Hiroshima, in Nagasaki, in the firebombing of Tokyo? Was that what you call justice?"
