Ginban Kaleidoscope

At sixteen, Sakurano Tazusa stands at the frozen edge of greatness—and ruin. Blessed with a face that commands magazine covers and a natural talent that makes seasoned coaches nod in approval, she should be the rising star of Japanese figure skating. Instead, she is a pariah in her own rink. Her sharp tongue and arrogant demeanor have alienated teammates and officials alike, while the pressure of competition crushes her potential before she can even land her first triple jump. The Olympic dream she once clutched like gold is dissolving into ice water, slipping further away with every botched routine and cold glare from the stands. But disaster takes an absurd turn when, during a particularly humiliating practice, a ghost suddenly possesses her body. The spirit—brash, impulsive, and utterly uninvited—now shares her skin, her skates, and her life. As this unwelcome tenant disrupts her training and upends her carefully guarded solitude, Tazusa finds herself forced into an uneasy partnership with the very force that threatens to destroy her last chance at glory. Yet beneath the chaos, the ghost's presence begins to chip away at her defenses, revealing cracks in her icy persona and stirring emotions she has long buried. Now, with her future hanging by a thread and a phantom refusing to leave, Tazusa must learn to skate with a ghost at her side—or risk losing everything she has ever worked for.
