Cat-Life Balance

Everyone in the office adores Mamoru, and it's easy to see why. He never turns down a request, whether that means swapping out lightbulbs, hauling heavy boxes, or rescuing a retiring coworker from an impossible client. This tireless generosity has earned him the glittering nickname "Prince of the Office," a title worn proudly by the company's most dependable extrovert. His complete opposite is Kurone, a soft-spoken woman from another department who endures her boss's unpredictable mood swings behind a mask of unshakable calm. Then one grueling evening, after his coworkers head off to drinks and leave him behind to finish the overtime, Mamoru savors the rare pleasure of walking home alone with a beer in hand—only to stumble upon a startling sight. There in the park, the perpetually glum Kurone is gleefully playing with a crowd of stray cats. It's a small, silly secret, but it's the source of her private happiness—and the beginning of an unlikely bond. As the two grow closer through their feline encounters, Mamoru starts to reflect on the life he's built and who he truly wants to share it with. Is work really all there is, or can he strike a healthier balance with the help of some fluffy new friends—and a human who might become something more?
