Taiki Kudo has always been the type of boy who cannot turn away from someone in need—a quality that often drives him to push his own limits past the breaking point. It belongs to Shoutmon, a young Digimon on the brink of death, pleading for help. Moved by the cry, Taiki is entrusted with a mysterious device called the Xros Loader, a Digivice with extraordinary potential. Alongside his loyal friends, Akari Hinomoto and Zenjiro Tsurugi, he is suddenly warped into the sprawling, untamed expanse of the Digital World. There, they find Shoutmon alive but embattled, joined by his steadfast comrades—the sturdy Ballistamon, the gallant Starmon, and the loyal Pickmons. Taiki quickly discovers that the Xros Loader's true power lies in DigiXros, a unique ability that fuses his allies into formidable new configurations, allowing them to adapt and overcome overwhelming odds. With this newfound strength, the group throws themselves into a desperate struggle against the tyrannical forces of the Bagura Empire, a ruthless regime that threatens to consume the Digital World. As their campaign escalates, Taiki and his friends find their path intertwined with two rival teams—Blue Flare and Twilight—each with their own ambitions, forcing the young hero to navigate shifting allegiances while staying true to his vow to protect all who suffer.
