Golden Sparkle

Himari Uehara is a first-year high school student with an unusual gap in his education. With his father absent from the household and a missed health curriculum during his middle school years, he has reached adolescence with almost no understanding of sex or the changes his body is going through. What most of his classmates absorbed through basic health classes and everyday conversation has simply never reached him. That gap becomes impossible to ignore the morning Himari wakes up to find his boxers a mess, with no idea what happened during the night. Confused and unsettled, he searches for answers and comes up empty — there is no parent at home to turn to, and no trusted adult he feels he can approach with such a personal question. Fortunately, Himari isn't entirely on his own. Gaku Asada, a new friend he has made since starting high school, steps in with an offer: he will teach Himari everything he missed in health class — and then some. With Gaku as his unlikely guide, Himari begins a crash course in the knowledge his upbringing never provided.
