Darling, Iikagen ni Shiyagare

Haiji Nakata is a rough-edged delinquent raised in a quiet rural village, far removed from the polished world of high society. His life takes an unexpected turn with the arrival of Kokoro Sakurazaka, a young, innocent man of mixed Italian and Japanese heritage. Armed with a naturally warm and approachable demeanor, Kokoro quickly endears himself to the local villagers, breaking through their initial reservations and seamlessly integrating into the tight-knit community. Despite his affluent background, Kokoro proves to be remarkably helpless when it comes to basic daily living. He is overly affectionate and entirely dependent on others for simple tasks, prompting Haiji to step in as his reluctant caretaker. The hardened country youth finds himself constantly watching over the gentle newcomer, unable to ignore Kokoro’s vulnerability. What begins as mere annoyance gradually shifts into a deep-seated need to protect him. However, this budding dynamic is built upon an unseen foundation. As Haiji grows more accustomed to looking after the naive young man, he remains completely unaware of the true intentions behind Kokoro's sudden relocation to Japan. When the real reason for his journey finally comes to light, it threatens to upend everything Haiji thought he understood about their growing bond.
