Hoshina Shuuji is an ordinary high school student with one remarkable quirk: through his five senses, he can perceive the feelings of the people around him. His everyday school life takes an unexpected turn when he accidentally walks in on Ayachi Nene—a popular girl known for offering her classmates guidance through fortune-telling—in an intimate moment inside the school library. Determined to make amends for the mortifying encounter, Shuuji seeks her out to apologize, only to uncover far more than he ever anticipated. Nene, it turns out, belongs to the Occult Club, a group on the brink of shutdown due to a lack of members. More astonishing still, she is secretly a witch engaged in gathering 'soul fragments'—crystallized pieces born from powerful human emotions. Complications arise when Shuuji inadvertently absorbs her entire collection of fragments in an accident. With her hard-won work undone through his carelessness, he resolves to take responsibility: joining the struggling Occult Club at Nene's side, lending his aid in gathering new fragments, and searching for a way to restore the ones now trapped within him.
