Zenaku no Kuzu

In the shadowy underbelly of society, where the law often turns a blind eye and justice remains an empty promise, Kamo and his partner Tora have carved out a grim livelihood. They operate as hired avengers, offering their services to those who have been pushed beyond the reach of conventional redress. Their clients are the broken survivors of violent atrocities and the grieving families left in the wake of unforgivable wrongs—people who have exhausted every legal avenue and now seek a darker, more personal form of resolution. Each contract draws the duo into a vortex of raw human anguish and simmering rage, forcing them to navigate a treacherous moral landscape where their actions, however justified, carry irreversible consequences. As they move from one harrowing assignment to the next, Kamo and Tora find themselves perpetually balancing on the knife-edge between deliverance and damnation. Their partnership, forged through countless life-or-death ordeals, is tested not only by the physical perils of their targets but also by the psychological weight of the vengeance they mete out. Working in the shadows, they must contend with rival underworld factions, the ever-present threat of betrayal, and the haunting question of whether their brand of justice truly heals the wounded or merely perpetuates an endless cycle of bloodshed. In a world governed by retribution, Kamo and Tora are forced to reckon with their own humanity, knowing that each job they complete may cost them a piece of themselves.
