The Basketball God Who Escaped the Execution Line

When Fang Jie—standing 198 cm, weighing 87 kg, with a 217 cm wingspan, a 120 cm vertical leap, and 30 cm hands—arrives in the 2017–2018 NBA season, 29 teams across the league are suddenly haunted by the ghost of Michael Jordan. The previous offseason, the Warriors, famously mocked as the "73-win runner-up," signed Kevin Durant to form the legendary Universe Warriors, and the Tsunami Brothers steamrolled the Cavaliers in the Finals, leaving fans convinced the NBA had already reached its endgame. But from the Lakers' bench rises a player who is a flawless clone of Jordan—every physical metric, every gravity-defying leap, every frozen moment of hang time, every unstoppable mid-range shot, and every suffocating defensive move are carbon copies. Even more terrifying, this Jordan clone also possesses a three-point shot that rivals the Splash Brothers themselves. What was once a fantasy debated only on fan forums—an imagined duel between legends across eras—is now set to unfold in the new season. Can a basketball god armed with a lethal three-pointer still reign supreme in the golden age of small-ball? Against the Universe Warriors and the Tsunami Brothers? The basketball god, reborn from the execution line, returns—and in his presence, all are equal.
