Summary

Translated Details

Daibutsu is a middle-aged former rally driver who lives with his wife, Kumiko, and their son. Once a competitor in the All Japan Rally Championship, he turns his attention back to his garage, where he begins rebuilding his Mitsubishi Starion 4WD—a Group B rally car named Jackie, from a class of machines that was banned at the end of the 1986 season. As he brings the car back to life, Daibutsu sets his return to racing in motion, taking to the streets to challenge others with his machine.
