White Dragon: Starting by Pretending to Be a Red Dragon

Without the raw physical might of a red dragon or the extraordinary magical talent of blue and green dragons, Icarus finds himself reborn as a white dragon—at the very bottom of the draconic hierarchy. His only asset is a crystal statue that can transform others' perceptions into wondrous traits. "My first goal: make everyone believe I am a red dragon." Inside his cave, Icarus paints his scales with red lacquer, murmuring to himself. From that day onward, the legend of the Thousand-Faced Dragon begins to spread quietly across the continent of Verolant.
