In a high school setting, Ayumu, a self-proclaimed admirer of cute and pretty boys, harbors a secret crush on his friend Saki, a gentle and soft-spoken member of the school's volleyball team. However, instead of reciprocating Ayumu's affections, Saki catches the eye of the volleyball team's coach, Kouga-sensei, a peculiar and unrefined individual with a penchant for chain-smoking. Amidst this unexpected development, Kouga-sensei challenges Ayumu to join the team with a confrontational approach, shattering Ayumu's initial perceptions of him as a "cute and pretty" ideal. Despite their vastly different personalities, Ayumu finds himself inexplicably drawn to Kouga-sensei, forcing him to reevaluate his expectations and desires.
