Dragon Raja: Reversing Causality

"I have fought the good fight." But when Lu Mingfei closed his eyes in the blood-and-fire finale and opened them once more, it was the blinding sunlight outside the Regent Hotel that greeted him instead. A century has passed. He has long since grown from that hapless kid into a man with gold lining his collar—the last headmaster of Cassell College, the final leader of the Secret Party, with the Seven Deadly Sins roaring to life in his grip. Yet he has lost everything all the same. Chu Zihang, Caesar, Fingel, Angers—every comrade who once fought at his side has perished in the hundred-year war, along with the red-haired girl who withered away in the Red Well. And when the last enemy and Lu Mingfei drive their blades through each other's hearts, the Gungnir fired in reverse tears causality itself apart. He returns to the days before it all—before any of the tragedies have happened. Senior Brother Chu and the Little Dragon Maiden's forbidden love has yet to bear its bitter fruit; Erii is still plotting her next escape from home; the clear light of the blade still gleams in Minamoto Chisei's eyes; and Xia Mi has not yet been buried in that pool of blood, crimson as roses. This time, with the "second playthrough script" in hand, Lu Mingfei refuses to remain fate's marionette. While the ink on Cassell's acceptance letter is still wet, he will set the gears of destiny turning with his own hands. The dragon-slaying game has been reset, and max-level Lu Mingfei has returned to where it all began. This time, he will clear the game with a single life and write the ending himself—turning every lingering regret into a quiet "thank goodness it turned out this way."
