The Kept Man of the Princess Knight

A labyrinth teeming with treasure and death draws all kinds—brave adventurers, ruthless profiteers, and anyone hungry for an easy profit—and around it festers a town built by the dregs of society. It is here, among castoffs and schemers, that a man lives under the sway of the woman who owns him. Arwen, the Princess Knight, burns with a lofty ambition: to restore her lost homeland. While she risks her life delving into the labyrinth's depths, Matthew—known to everyone as the town drunk—whiles away his days in taverns and brothels, squandering the money she hands him and cementing his reputation as the local laughingstock. But this drunken fool hides a side that no one in town has ever glimpsed. In Arwen's service, Matthew will do absolutely anything—no matter how dirty his hands must become. Behind the facade of a shameless freeloader lies a devotion far deeper, and far more dangerous, than anyone could imagine.
