Suki na Ko ga Megane wo Wasureta

The start of a new school year brings its usual anxieties for the timid Komura: a fresh homeroom, unfamiliar classmates, and the dread of an empty desk beside him. But his trepidation evaporates the moment he learns his new seat neighbor is none other than Mie, a delightfully eccentric girl whose thick-rimmed glasses only magnify the captivating eyes that make his heart race. Prone to whispering the most unexpected thoughts under her breath, Mie is an enigma that Komura finds utterly irresistible. Yet there is a singular, persistent complication: Mie suffers from a crippling forgetfulness when it comes to her eyewear. She routinely leaves her glasses at home or accidentally damages them, leaving her nearly blind in the classroom. Her resulting squint, which gives her a deceptively fierce expression, paradoxically sends Komura's pulse skyrocketing even higher. Eager to bridge the gap, he volunteers to share his textbooks and guide her through their lessons, hoping his constant attentiveness will speak to his feelings. As he navigates this daily routine of close-proximity chaos, Komura finds his own heart teetering on the edge of exhaustion—can he survive the year-long strain of being so near to his crush, and will Mie ever truly see the love he's trying so hard to show her?
