Robou no Fujii ~Idai Naru Bonjin kara no Tayori~

By day, Fujii is the most forgettable man in the office—a plain, middle-aged employee who neither seeks the spotlight nor attracts it. He performs his duties with quiet competence, never wasting a word beyond what the job demands. The moment the workday ends, he vanishes as though into thin air, never lingering and never appearing at the after-work drinking parties to which he was never invited in the first place. To his younger colleagues, he is something of a cautionary figure—the man they silently vow never to become. Yet despite their dismissive attitudes, Fujii exerts an inexplicable pull on those around him. Bit by bit, idle curiosity begins to creep in: What kind of upbringing shaped him? Does he have friends, or perhaps a girlfriend waiting somewhere out of sight? How does he actually spend his weekends once he slips away from the office? Before anyone can pinpoint when it happened, his coworkers find themselves utterly captivated by this thoroughly ordinary man. Is Fujii an eccentric, a hermit, or something else entirely? Through his quiet, unassuming life, one thing slowly becomes clear: he may just redefine what happiness truly means.
