The world is governed by three divine powers: a God of Light, a God of Darkness, and an Evil God who ambles through existence at a pace all its own. For generations, the Church of Sacred Light reigned as the mightiest faith in the land—until, without warning, its influence began to slip away. In a panic, the church's leadership stakes everything on a single grand gesture: the Hero Summoning Ritual, meant to stand as the symbol of their revival. Their plan, however, goes awry thanks to the meddling of an Evil God even more easygoing than the first. The young man pulled from another world is granted not a legendary blessing, but a decidedly troublesome skill—one that turns his heroic debut into anything but. From that moment on, turmoil trails him at every turn, dragging him deeper into a realm that refuses to make sense. Amid the chaos, he crosses paths with a certain girl, and together the two resolve to stand against the absurdity that rules their world. Yet one question lingers: will he ever make it safely back to his old life? In the end, everything comes down to a single, fickle thing—luck.
