Black Cat Task Force

The Black Cat Task Force serves the poorest anomaly management bureau in history, and the unit under its command has two defining traits: it has none of the equipment it needs, and it takes everything in stride. Worst of all, its commander has only ten days left to live. Such is the Task Force's creed: Rule 3, the blue-eyed black cat is a lucky mascot that wards off evil. Rule 2, the black cat is also the commander. Rule 5, as for weapons and equipment—figure those out yourself. Welcome to the second cat-lover's novel, following The Black Cat's Longevity Simulator. This time, the story is set in the East City of a magical-realist South America, where readers will encounter werewolf assault squads, vampire spies, tactical wizards, and more. It is actually quite traditional—yet somehow not that traditional at all. And no, this is not a neo-weird novel. Don't say you weren't warned.
