An ordinary Japanese high school student is heading to a Dragon Ball event alongside a friend when an unexpected distraction alters his life forever. Catching sight of an attractive girl in a short skirt, he impulsively rushes over for a better look, only to trip and lose consciousness from the fall. When he finally regains his senses, he discovers that his reality has drastically shifted: he has somehow been reincarnated into the body of Yamcha, the iconic martial artist from the Dragon Ball universe. Thrust into a world of superhuman battles and escalating cosmic threats, the young man faces a terrifying dilemma. As a devoted fan of the series, he possesses intimate knowledge of the franchise's lore and understands exactly what lies ahead for Yamcha—a future defined by constant defeat, humiliation, and untimely deaths at the hands of increasingly powerful enemies. Armed with this invaluable foresight, he refuses to accept such a grim destiny. Instead, he resolves to take matters into his own hands, leveraging his encyclopedic knowledge of upcoming events to train harder, make smarter choices, and completely rewrite the tragic fate originally written for one of anime's most unfortunate characters.
