Mr. Lu, stop being such a jerk. Your wife is your nemesis's white moonlight.

Four years into her marriage, Xu An'an finally awakens from the illusion she built around her husband. On the devastating day she suffers a miscarriage, bleeding heavily and desperately unable to reach Lu Yiming by phone, she is rushed to the hospital in an ambulance only to discover his whereabouts. He is at the very same hospital, tenderly accompanying his first love through a prenatal checkup. Witnessing their intimate closeness shatters Xu An'an's heart completely. She remembers how he once knelt before her, proposing with a solemn vow to love no one else for the rest of his life. To honor that promise, she had abandoned her thriving career as a renowned actress at the height of her fame, willingly stepping out of the spotlight to support his ambitions. With those vows now irreparably broken, Xu An'an sees no reason to remain bound to a hollow marriage. She leaves behind signed divorce papers and gracefully returns to the world she sacrificed, rejoining a film crew to reclaim her life. But her departure triggers an unexpected reaction. The usually composed and gentle Lu Yiming completely loses control. Flying overnight to the film set with bloodshot eyes and desperate panic, he confronts her, begging her to stop.
