My Best Friend and I Do a Good Deed Every Day in a Manor Intrigue Novel

In their past lives, Zhao Zhi and Jiang Lan were inseparable best friends. Now, they have transmigrated into the roles of sisters-in-law within an ancient noble household—a setting straight out of a cutthroat manor intrigue novel. Expecting to be dragged into vicious domestic warfare, the duo is instead surprised by the arrival of a "Daily Good Deed" check-in system. To the optimistic eye, they are saints striving to perform one good deed a day amidst treacherous family politics, becoming the beloved darlings of the estate. In reality, they are absolute agents of chaos who delight in tearing apart the carefully crafted scripts of every protagonist around them. When a reborn legitimate daughter attempts to use her revenge script to win them over with gratitude, promising to treat them better than her wicked stepmother once she takes charge, Zhao Zhi is utterly baffled—especially since they routinely bully that very stepmother into silence. When a transmigrated concubine's daughter tries to recruit them for her schemes based on their shared lower status, the pair flatly refuses to participate in arson or murder, pointing out that saving someone's life shouldn't result in such ungrateful demands. Between confused reincarnators wondering why the timeline is broken and fellow transmigrators shocked that concubine-born women don't want to rebel, the entire household agrees on one thing: whenever these two sisters-in-law get together, trouble follows. Yet Zhao Zhi and Jiang Lan vehemently disagree—they are just doing good deeds!
