Joujuu Senjin!! Mushibugyou

In feudal Japan, the city of Edo faces an unprecedented crisis as colossal insects ravage the countryside and terrorize its inhabitants. Desperate for salvation, the populace pleads with the ruling authorities to intervene, leading to the creation of the Insect Magistrate Office. This specialized division is tasked with recruiting the realm's most formidable warriors to repel the monstrous swarm and protect the people from total devastation. Jinbee Tsukishima is a young swordsman driven by the conviction that a warrior without strength is no warrior at all. Determined to master the blade like his father before him, he carries the heavy burden of a tragic incident caused by his own mistakes. Seeking redemption, Jinbee resolves to take his father’s place within the ranks of the Insect Magistrate Office. His path toward this goal takes a decisive turn when he encounters Haru, a kind young woman who manages her family's tea house. When she is threatened by a horrifying fate, Jinbee draws his sword to save her, proving his valor in combat. This courageous act secures his official appointment to the Insect Magistrate. Now standing on the front lines as a newly recruited exterminator, Jinbee must prove whether his skills are truly enough to purge the land of the overwhelming insect horde.
