Old Home no Haibanetachi

Old Home no Haibanetachi follows the journey of a young girl named Rakka, who has recently awakened as a haibane—a mysterious, angelic being marked by ethereal wings and a quiet grace. As a newcomer to this strange existence, Rakka must navigate her unfamiliar surroundings while coming to terms with her new identity among others who share her otherworldly nature. Her new life unfolds within Glie, an enigmatic walled city that serves as both a sanctuary and a cage for its inhabitants. The towering walls enclose the entire settlement, leaving only a single entrance connecting it to the outside world. However, this passage offers no freedom; strict rules dictate that no one is permitted to leave the city's boundaries under any circumstances. Bound by these unyielding restrictions, Rakka and the other haibanetaki must forge their lives entirely within the confines of Glie. The story explores their daily existence and the quiet mysteries surrounding their angelic forms, all set against the backdrop of a sealed city where departure is forbidden and the truth of their purpose remains hidden behind impenetrable walls.
