Scarlet Secret

Years ago, Yamato lost Shiki, his beloved childhood friend, to a harrowing sacrificial ritual. Unable to accept the boy's death and driven by a deep, unrequited love that slowly twisted into an all-consuming obsession, Yamato spent years searching for answers. His relentless pursuit eventually led him to infiltrate a sacred palace strictly forbidden to men, where he uncovered a devastating truth about Shiki's fate. Rather than perishing in the ritual, Shiki had been kept alive to inherit a superhuman power destined to elevate him to the throne as the nation's king. Confronted with this reality, Yamato makes a solemn vow to bury his lingering romantic feelings. He pledges himself to Shiki not as an equal, but as a devoted servant, determined to stand by his side in this dangerous new world. Yet, suppressing such profound emotions while serving the one person he loves most proves to be an agonizing burden, threatening to unravel the fragile resolve he has sworn to uphold.
