Snow Fairy

Renowned wildlife photographer Narumi travels to the snowy landscapes of Hokkaido with a singular goal: capturing images of the elusive creatures known as "snow fairies." However, his expedition takes an unexpected turn when a severe blizzard leaves him stranded. Rescued from the harsh elements, he is taken in by Haruki, a local farmer who offers him shelter for the duration of the winter. The two men could not be more different—Narumi is a polished, outgoing city dweller, while Haruki embodies the quiet, grounded nature of rural life. Despite their contrasting backgrounds, they soon discover that each has much to offer the other. When Haruki expresses a genuine curiosity about Narumi's profession, the photographer begins teaching him the art of taking pictures. Yet, as Haruki’s enthusiasm grows, Narumi unexpectedly finds himself becoming the primary focus of the young farmer's newfound hobby. Bound together by the relentless winter weather, the two spend the season sharing a close and increasingly intimate domestic life. As the cold months slowly give way to warmer days, both men are left to wonder what the arrival of spring will ultimately mean for their deepening bond.
