Zangai Shoujo, Kirakira na Sekai no Soko

In a ruined world where mechanical bodies known as Avatars have become increasingly widespread, Ao lives in the lower levels of the city and barely scrapes by each day as an Avatar mechanic. Her life is harsh and uncertain, until she finds a battered Avatar girl named Ariadne in a back alley. Unable to simply leave her behind, Ao repairs her. The moment Ariadne awakens, she kisses Ao and says, “Let’s get married…” This unexpected declaration disrupts Ao’s grim daily routine and brings the two girls closer together. Both live at the very bottom of their world, where survival leaves little room for warmth or tenderness. Yet with Ariadne beside her, Ao’s days begin to change. The story follows two girls living in the depths of a ruined society as their ordinary everyday life slowly begins to sparkle.
